Speaking to comedienne Margaret Cho for YRB magazine was, well, a little on the boring side really. Whether it was the inherently distanced nature of a phone interview, or the fact that, due to the time difference, my call for the interview appeared to interrupt the madam’s breakfast, it was less a case of her coming out with some funny, off-the-cuff comments and witticisms than deferring to standard, almost publicist-scripted answers.

Not quite sure about her classification of Young Dylan as “comical” either…
