“We used to do the rallies at high school — that’s how you made a name for yourself in the city in those days. They were sports rallies except with us performing to hype up the crowd. There’s a classic Skyline High School rally back in ‘92 that was like a pre-concert. It was like watching early footage of Lebron James in a high school game but you can see Hiero performing at a Skyline High School game, just rockin’ the crowd. [We’d perform] demos, early material… We probably did “Burnt,” which turned out to be the b-side to Del’s “Mistadobalina” single.”
